She became passionate about doing yoga and becoming a yoga instructor. She had been a body builder and suffered from a bulging disc and then soon after, she got pregnant with her second daughter in 2006. While being pregnant she also experienced sciatica pain. Her trainer recommended that she do some yoga poses to fix her low back pain. Diana then began a daily routine incorporating child's pose and other poses for lower back pain relief. Eventually, the pain subsided and she avoided surgery. Diana still does these low back poses everyday to keep the pain away! Then in 2010, Diana started teaching yoga because she felt that it was important to share the healing benefits of yoga.
To me, yoga is much more than an exercise. It is about body, mind and spirit. Yoga means "yoke" or "union” connecting your breath with movement; meditation to calm your mind and to connect with your higher self. I incorporate that concept as a yoga instructor. I use traditional spiritual wisdom, coupled by self-study and psychology, to remind people who they really are.
